So, what really happened behind the scenes of the Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea deal? Chelsea were super fast, but there are other important things to clarify.
To start with, we know Arsenal were focused on the Mudryk deal for a long time. They were interested in the summer, even though they never made a bid, and then this January they had three bids turned down, the last of which was for €70m guaranteed, plus €25m in add-ons. It was a very good bid, but Shakhtar said no.
